I am almost 29 years old and have decided that I like this age and am not getting older. I am from TEXAS, wohoo! But I live on the East Coast and it is finally feeling like home. I am married to my best friend and feel very blessed for my life, but we all have struggles and mine is my weight. I have finally realized that fixing other parts of my life doesnt make this problem go away.
I am curious about everyone's thought on white! After Easter or Memorial Day? My Mother always said Memorial Day to Labor Day.. Leave me a comment on what everythinks and I will post the winning answer!! I am very curious!!
shoot- I wanna know too- ask Miss Janice- I asked her already, maybe if there are enough requests she'll do a post, but Easter-Mem Day do's and don'ts need to be spelled out for us!
That's so funny you posted about this, my boyfriend and I were arguing about this at church last weekend (random!) My vote is Easter and I bet if we googled it we would find that it has something to do with religion, since it's kind of a southern thing?
I've always been raised to wear white after Easter. I didn't hear about waiting until Memorial Day until I went to college and met people from other parts of the country. So I'd say its a geographic thing. If you are in the south though, you're safe to pull out the white!
Also, agree with Channa. Technically the rule should be broken nowadays, it is just so hard!
I would say after Easter. But I believe, per Stacy London, that those rules no longer apply. That now you can wear white, appropriately, year round.
ReplyDeleteEaster.

I just asked my mom this yesterday... she said technically it's the first day of spring, but Easter is more widely accepted.
ReplyDeleteAfter Easter. I'm totally rocking the white right now and couldn't be happier about it. Go for it girl!
