TGIF

Hello everyone! I am so sorry for the lack of posting, it was one of those weeks (oh wait, that was my excuse last week).. Well, actually everyday is one of those days with my new boss. So after work yesterday, I decided to buy myself a little something...
Stuart Weitzman Sandals!! YAY! I love them! So, hubby and I have been talking about mental health, haha... Well, job related mental health and I am considering just quitting without having another job. I just dont know how much more I can take. I probably fight back tears 3x a day. I just dont think it is worth it anymore. Has anyone gone through something like this?

  1. Hi Pink Bliss! I am going through this right now too...I am so stressed and full of anxiety at even the thought of work. I want to find another job, but my company is currently paying for my grad school so it's kinda like I'd be stupid to leave right now! I definitely understand what you're going through - keep your chin up and do what's best for you! I always have to tell myself it's only a job and my life is so much more than that!! I'll be sending good thoughts your way - enjoy the weekend!!! xoxo

  2. I don't have a job but I don't think that I could stand hanging around in an environment that made me feel so horrible

  3. Hi there! I have completely been where you are, and honestly, quitting can be the best thing sometimes....If you don't need the job or can find another one. Like bad friends and bad food, bad jobs can be toxic. It affects more than just your day negatively. I hope that it all works out for you, I hate to hear that someone's work is miserable, especially since we spend so much time there.

Anyway, good luck! I love those shoes! Have a great weekend and I hope next week is better :)

  4. hi, pink bliss-- job stuff can really suck... one of my friends gave me a card once when I had bad job stress, it read, when things are bad and getting worse, keep a cookie in your purse! :)

do what you love, life is too short not too. it is a temporary stress until then, if that helps.
also, I just posted a dozen pink shoe pics for spring... :) lovin' your sandals...

    hang in there!

  5. Definitely have. I left a fabulous job for what I thought was my "dream job". By the end of my first day, I hated it there. I knew it wasn't the place for me. I would walk to the subway, crying, at the thought of having to go to work. After working there for 6 weeks, I quit. No job lined up. The minute I spoke those words, I felt a huge weight lift off my shoulders.

Sometimes work is hard and you're not always going to like where you work. But sometimes, it's really not a fit and it's better to have nothing and be happy than to have something and be miserable. Even in this economy.
